June 20, 2024. nuam, the entity resulting from the integration of the Lima, Santiago, and Colombia Stock Exchanges, presented 'Connection Spaces,' a virtual meeting between companies and investors in the region. The goal is to establish a regular forum among the key players in the NUAM market to foster and strengthen strategic relationships, as well as to provide opportunities for returns and financing.
Miguel Ángel Zapatero, Corporate Manager of Clients and Businesses at nuam, emphasized that the intention is to promote spaces for meetings and learning between companies, investors, and research teams, fostering transparency, trust, and direct interaction, which benefits all parties involved and contributes to market growth.
As presenters, Bci and Enel participated for Chile; Bancolombia and Cementos Argos for Colombia; and Ferreycorp and Inretail for Peru. These companies showcased their value propositions, current situation, and outlook.
By the end of 2023, the markets that make up nuam had 475 equity issuers and 388 fixed-income issuers, with a market capitalization of approximately US$ 350 billion and an annual trading volume of nearly US$ 40 billion in stocks.
Finally, it was announced that this event will have a follow-up edition in the last quarter of 2024.
